Aerial Telemetry

Barry Martin has extensive experience as a pilot and when combined with his skill as a tracker he becomes an ideal candidate for aerial telemetry projects.

  • Began flying at age 15, earned his private license at 16 and commercial license at 17.
  • US Naval Aviator; carrier-based jet pilot, active duty 1975-1982, Navy Reserve 1982-1996.  Navy instructor pilot, post maintenance check pilot.
  • American Airlines pilot 1985-2006.
  • Nearly 20,000 hours total flight time.

Currently our primary client is UC Davis Wildlife Health Center with wildlife veterinarian, Winston Vickers.  Winston has approximately eleven collared mountain lions that we locate via telemetry.

Other clients include Wildlife Research Institute who occasionally enlist our services to locate golden eagles.

To book a flight with Barry or if you have any questions please call: 858-775-7227 or contact us here.
